My journey began back in early 2013. My mother-in-law passed along a few articles to me about the use of pesticides and other chemicals being used on our food. I was astounded by how many awful things were being used on food that my family was ingesting. Here we were, focused on doing the right thing by eating healthy and our bodies were being subjected to nasty chemicals at the same time. I began slowly purchasing more and more organic fruits and vegetables, starting with replacing the most chemical laden ones first. Also at that time we changed cereals to avoid ingesting BHT and eventually we have gone to eating organic chicken as well.
Then in April 2014, my good friend Debbie invited me to her home for a Norwex party. I was not familiar with the company or the products at the time. And honestly I never really enjoyed attending hostess parties, but with my new interest in products that were natural, I agreed to attend. Once Debbie demonstrated the mechanical cleaning power of the EnviroCloth, I made my first purchase of a few products. They surpassed my expectations as I watched my 9 year old daughter move from cleaning the stove top to wiping down most of the nasty grime off our refrigerator with very little effort. This is the stuff my husband and I would have to use some serious elbow grease to remove and she cleaned it so easily!
A few short weeks later, I was invited to another Norwex party and though did not purchase anything else at that time, agreed to host a party of my own. I had only one other time agreed to ever host a party in the past so this was a huge deal for me. The party was a huge success and I was so glad to help out Debbie and earn lots of great products for free.
Along the way my friend Debbie encouraged me that I would make a great sales consultant. After much prayer, discussions, and pondering, I joined Debbie’s team in August 2014. I feel blessed to be working with people of integrity, kindness, and a spirit of giving. And I am excited to spread the news about how each person can make a positive impact in their homes and environment by radically reducing the chemicals we use. God created us the perfect planet and it’s our responsibility to nurture it.
